Out of Zone Enrolments Only

Important Notice

The Manurewa Central School Board of Trustees wish to advise that, due to a significant roll growth in the past year, we will only accept out of zone applications for enrolments for New Entrant, Year 1 and 2 in 2018.

This decision is reviewed regularly. Should there be a change, and places do come available, this will be noted on our school’s website page.

If you wish to be considered for any spaces that may come available in the future, please contact our school office for an application form. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that places will become available. The Enrolment Scheme for State Integrated Schools dictates that priority must be given to in zone students, followed by out of zone applicants who are siblings of current students.

We apologise to families who have been unsuccessful in their application for enrolment and wish you well.

New Enrolment Legislation

Since 1990 Manurewa Central school has had an enrolment scheme designed to reduce overcrowding at the school. Recently the Government made changes to the legislation governing enrolment schemes.

These changes alter the priorities for enrolment and the manner in which extra places at the school are to be filled. These changes apply to all schools with enrolment schemes from the beginning of 2001.
