Our lucky Year 2 ESOL students spent the day at Ambury Farm recently. What a day of learning and new experiences they had.
Thank you to all the parents who joined us.
Feeding the huge horses was the best thing.
Their teeth pulled at the hay when we held it up like a bunch of flowers.
When they were nibbling I got some slobber on my hand!
When the turkey flapped his wings and fluffed out his feathers he was telling everyone he was the boss.
He thought he looked scary but we thought he looked funny!
The lambs climbed up the fence because they really needed the milk.
They were like babies snatching the milk bottle from me.
The chickens were pecking at the food in my hands but it didn't hurt.
They were even pecking at the food on my shoes.
It was super-exciting fabulous fun!
