Term Three has started with a hiss and a roar!

Kauri students have been very busy writing speeches, which will be shared to classes over the next few weeks.

Science has been a highlight of our term so far.

We are enjoying learning about forces and motion, energy in natural systems, volcanoes and earthquakes, and energy in sound, light and electricity.

We look forward to learning more as the term progresses.

Term Three is always an exciting time in Kauri Pod for our Year 6 students.

It is time to complete their intermediate school enrolments and begin visiting some of the intermediate schools they will attend next year.

Next week, Kauri Pod is going to see the National Youth Theatre production of Grease!

This production is performed by children and young people aged 8-18 years and is a child-friendly version of the original movie.

We are really looking forward to this experience.

Kauri Pod is looking great at the moment, with lots of student artwork on display.

Kōkako have recently completed a Matariki artwork, Kōtare have been working on Hundertwasser inspired pieces, and Kea have some cool portraits on the wall.
