Manurewa Central School has an extremely supportive Board who work to manage school resources, support the teaching staff, protect the welfare of pupils and represent parent interests.
Following the 2025 School Board Elections, the newly formed Board exercised its authority under Schedule 23 of the Education and Training Act 2020 to co-opt two additional members.
This decision was made to ensure continuity of governance experience and to maintain a balanced mix of skills and representation around the table.
The Board now comprises five elected members and two co-opted members, who will serve from 2025 until the next triennial elections in 2028.
